OK I knew, one day would get this question.
And there is not an easy answer.
BUT here is how I feel about it (and here is what the Holy Spirit tells me).
Yes Saturday is the Sabbath and yes God commands us to keep it Holy.
(And yes I do know about a Pope changing the Sabbath to Sunday way back in 350 AD.
(I observe the Sabbath).
'BUT my church holds services on Sunday'.
'WE love our church, we love the people in our church'.
'MY Pastor is NOT going to change services from Sunday to Saturday (NOT FOR ME & NOT FOR YOU)'.
I think the real underlying question is: WILL OBSERVING THE SABBATH ON SUNDAY CONDEMN YOUR SOUL TO HELL?
So many things have been lost to history. Like the birthday of Jesus. We set it as December 25th but no one truly knows the day, so we just all agree to celebrate it on Dec. 25th. Even though it is probably incorrect.
THE QUESTION I HAVE FOR YOU: 'Can you guarantee that 4-6-2024 IS SATURDAY (not the Sabbath - BUT Saturday?)
We have over 100 different calendars in the world. And most of them have to take into account that the standard calendar year is 365 days, Earth actually takes 365 days 5 hours 48 minutes and 46 seconds to go completely around the sun or 1 year .
Over thousands of years that will throw off any calendar by days, weeks or months. The Jewish calendar does not even use days but in effect uses the moon or Lunar cycles to count days and their calendar has only 360 days. God's calendar is the Jewish calendar which uses 360 days.
SO now are we thoroughly confused on even what day it is? BUT you look at the calendar and you say; (BUT IT'S SATURDAY)
HOW DO YOU KNOW FOR SURE,
WITH WHAT I HAVE SHOWN YOU, HOW DO YOU REALLY KNOW???
Remember every 4 years a new day is added and the Jewish calendar every so many years they add an entire month to their calendar. So now WHAT day is it?
I have prayed for hours begging the Holy Spirit to reveal any and ALL sin to me. BUT I was never told that to worship God on Sunday was a sin...
IF the Holy Spirit thought that worshiping God on Sunday was a sin OR was even wrong that the Holy Spirit would have told me, you, someone?
(AND NO - it's not because a Pope declared Sunday the new Sabbath).
It's because we do not assuredly (really) know when the REAL Sabbath is.
SO WE PICK A DAY THAT EVERYONE CAN AGREE ON and we worship God on that day.
IT is rather like the Pharisees and Sadducees claiming Jesus had sinned because he healed people on the Sabbath.
IF - (IF) it were a sin to worship God on the wrong Sabbath I would think the Holy Spirit would have come to me, someone, and told many people that I was in sin.
BUT NO The Holy Spirit has been totally silent on this issue.
IF the Holy Spirit came to me and told me to worship God on a Tuesday. I would make that my Sabbath and I would keep that day Holy.
With all the calendar confusion I do not think it's a DAY issue with God at this point I think WHAT IS IMPORTANT to set a day to worship God and stick to that day.
Worshiping God is what is important here not figuring out scientifically just what day the Sabbath actually is???
The first Sabbath was set in the days of Moses and that was about 3,500 years ago, you can not tell me that adding almost 6 hours a year to any calendar after 3,500 years would not skew the days? How did Moses know what day Saturday was? Because God told him.
Can you guarantee that 4-6-2024 is Saturday the Sabbath (the same Sabbath that God gave to Moses 3500 years ago? Or has that also been lost to history?
There is scripture in the book of Kings that sets the first day as the day of the new moon,
so the Sabbath would be 7 days later no matter what day was set as the Sabbath. and every 7 days after that would be the Sabbath from then until the new moon sets the first day again and the Sabbath
is set then reset again every 7 days until the new moon again.

It says right there that we are not to be judged on what day we keep our Sabbath.
God knows all things and God knows your heart.
I am sorry if this offends anyone, as that was not my intent.
I went to my bedroom and I prayed on this, FOR three days. And this is what the Holy Spirit put in my heart.
Some people worship God on Saturday and some people worship God on Sunday, it's not a day question, what is important is that (God is being worshiped).
And this is NOT because what a Pope did in 350 AD, but because we do not know what actual day God set the Sabbath 3500 years ago, so we pick a day and worship God on that day.
I know that I can not please everyone all the time.
I was NOT called to please people or tickle their ears but to tell people the TRUTH.
THE ONLY ONE I WANT TO PLEASE - THAT I HAVE TO PLEASE IS GOD.

We are that Adulterous and Sinful Generation that Jesus spoke about in Mark 8: 38
We are in the last days, and a storm is coming, get your house in order and be in prayer and watching for that blessed hope the Great Catching away of the faithful. Time is Short.
Remember: God is in control. I pray that we all be Pleasing to God as Enoch was pleasing to God (for God took him).
